Here are a few of our favorite things:
Downtown Alexandria
Stroll through historic buildings and find timeless antique stores and specialty boutiques. Take a break at any one of the cozy eateries, cafes, candy store, wine bar, and more! Over 45 local businesses.
Copper Trail Brewery
Enjoy local craft beers brewed on-site, great food from 205 Grill, live music most weekends, food trucks, cribbage and trivia nights... the list goes on!
Legacy of the Lakes Museum
Exhibits of amazing classic wooden & fiberglass boats plus gorgeous landscaped gardens, open spring through fall.
Casey's Amusement Park
Kid-friendly place with go-kart tracks & mini-golf courses, plus a bumper boat pool and arcade. Great way to spend a few hours!
Big Ole Park/Farmer's Market
Big Ole Park is home to Big Ole, a 28-foot Viking statue, and serves as the trailhead for the Central Lakes Trail. In the Summer and Fall, this park serves as host to Alexandria’s Farmer and Art Markets. In the winter it is the site of a community ice-skating rink.
Brophy County Park
Public beach, visitor shelter, playground, overlook benches, trails for hiking & mountain biking, and access to the Central Lakes Trail. In the winter there is a groomed sledding hill, fat tire biking, and cross-country ski trails.
